Our esteemed Head Chef, who brings knowledge and experience in the Indian-Punjabi cuisine industry to Newcastle. With over 35 years of expertise, Chand has honed his skills in renowned Punjab, Goa, and Mumbai establishments. His craftsmanship and culinary mastery have garnered attention from notable personalities throughout his career. From his tenure at Punjab's Radisson, Jalandhar, where he had the honour of cooking privately for esteemed guests such as the Prince of Wales (now His Majesty King Charles III), to serving Bollywood celebrities and the late A.P.J Abdul Kalam, India's Former President, Chand's culinary journey is nothing short of extraordinary. Now, his primary focus is to bring the authentic flavours of Indian-Punjabi cuisine to the people of Newcastle.

I came home to Newcastle to watch the League Cup Final from Italy and we decided to eat at Rani after a great day out and about. Bad Result for Newcastle United but a fantastic curry which cheered us up. The Service was great and the food was out of this world. I would also like to say that Ronny and Amrita gave us great service and they made us feel so welcome. Nothing was a chore and they were fantastic !!Keith Armstrong
